The wristband worked perfectly in tests. For the price, the clasp could be higher quality, easier to adjust in length, and in my opinion it opens a bit too easily.

Purchase and ordering: quick and straightforward online. There are likely other ordering options, but online was very easy for me. Product: well made, easy to use, discreet. Installation was very simple. The user manual is very clear. Service: all questions were answered quickly, politely, and clearly. There is room for improvement in the software (e.g., setting priority for emergency contacts), but I am sure further updates will address this.

Easy handling for wearers and users

We are very satisfied with the wristband and the app handling. The wristband is very comfortable thanks to its material and shape. For my grandfather, operation is very simple and understandable. The voice quality is not as good as a phone speaker, but sufficient. Location and communication among emergency contacts in the app work great. Another family member now also has a Gardia emergency wristband. It’s just a pity there is no SEPA direct debit option. Older generations usually don’t have a credit card or PayPal. I would recommend it again and again, especially for those who struggle with smartwatches.

So far the Gardia wristband works flawlessly and forwards the required data to the app. I can recommend this system; however, app users should make sure that the app is compatible with their phone.

I feel safer

My husband has early dementia. I can still leave him alone for a few hours, but I feel safer when he wears this emergency wristband while I am away, as spatial disorientation will eventually increase. He enjoys working in the garden, so fall detection convinced me, as did GPS location in an emergency. The audio communication between the wristband and my phone is sufficient. I am thrilled and happy to have found such a device. Thank you for inventing it!
